    I have recently upgraded a number of my client websites to the latest WordPress and to Enfold Theme V4.4.1 and it seems that the ability to scroll to the next image within a photo gallery has been removed. In previous versions, there was an arrow one could click to get to the next photo, but now all that happens is that it opens the lightbox but only for the one photo.

    This problem only seems to happen for clients where I use a Child theme.

    Below is an example.

    Can you please advise what I can do to ensure that my clients’ visitors can scroll through each photo gallery.

    I noticed this exact same issue as well! It’s definitely a feature that is necessary and needs to come back. Anyone have any advice as to how we can get this back??

    Hi,

    @web4smallbusiness     when I check your page the gallery is not opening in lightbox, the images are opening directly.
    Please check that the Enfold Theme Options > Lightbox Modal Window option is still checked.
    Or if you are using a child theme with a header.php in it, you will need to update the header.php to the latest one, as it has changed.
    Be sure to retrieve any custom code in your header.php to add to the new one.

    Thank you Mike. I have checked and the Lightbox Modal Window is still ticked.

    In regards to the child theme … where do I get the new updated header.php file and do I simply overwrite the existing one via ftp?

    Hi,
    You would get the new header.php from the latest Enfold theme, and overwrite the one in your child theme.
    Typically the only reason to have a header.php in a child theme is to add custom code to it, so it would be a good idea to save a copy of it and compare it to the new one to see what custom code was added.
