Hi Kriesi,
We are using your Enfold theme to build a lot of our websites. However, we have around 30 purchases of Enfold in our current account page, which we would like to re-use for sites that are not available anymore. However, when using the Envato Private Token method, I am not sure how you validate a purchase and which one you validate, as we can also download specific purchase codes.
I am able to use the Envato Market Plug-in to put a Envato Private Token, combined with the purchase ID to really connect the updates of a theme towards a specific purchase, but could you explain to me how we can keep track of which purchase codes are used where so we use a valid theme code all the time?
Kind regards,
Joost
Hey Joost,
I don’t think that Themeforst has any type of functionality for matching tokens with actual site URLs, I would advise that you keep a record of the URL in a local document each time you generate a new token.

Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your response! Would you then advise using the Envato Markup Plug-in, as I can then identify a unique item ID. I have not tested if the updates would then work, but that would solve this problem. In that case, I will not fill in a key in the Enfold > Theme Update, but instead use that market plug-in to handle the updates.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Joost
Hi,
You should have no issues updating with the Envato Market plugin, but I’m not sure that you will be able to tell which token is used on which site any better. You may need to keep a text file to track them all, as long as you use each Token only once on one domain you will be all set.
If you can easly identify them by a item ID in the plugin then great, I don’t have a way to test this.
Best regards,
Mike
