    Hi,

    I would like to modify URL in posts. If I click on Settings > Permalinks and I choose “Post name” option, it works well. But if I choose “custom strcuture” and I click on “%category%” and “%postname%”, then the post pages return a 404 error.

    I’m interested in the second option.

    What’s wrong?

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, first off could you try to clear the cache from your caching plugin and leave it deactivated to see if that makes any difference? When to not use a caching plugin.

    I check that those updates are not gone through your htaccess file.
    Please go ahead and change the htaccess 557

    Hi,

    If I’ve understood well, I should have changed the permissions file and I chose 557. Then I checked it and it doesn’t work. Then, I changed to 777 and it doesn’t work too.

    What can I do more?

    It doesn’t work. Continuous showing 404 error. :(

    If I check it with others tags or categories it works well.

    Hi,

    It doesn’t work because the “servicios” category conflicts with the slug of the “servicios” page. You have to find a different name for your services page or change the name of the category. I changed it to “servicios-cat” temporarily. (see private field)
