So, I’ve been seeing this on quite a few sites and typically what I need to do is change the page slug and set up a redirect. You can see what is happening here:
https://www.embracing-motherhood.com/teaching/
That should be pulling up a landing that is built using the advanced layout builder but instead it is pulling the category archive for that category instead. It used to display correctly and since the update none of those landing pages are working correctly.
How can we fix?
Okay, I changed the other landing pages to have a different slug and that fixed them temporarily but it will affect the SEO to change every page url. I kept teaching the same so that you can see the issue.

We used to have posts of the type “pages” different from the type “posts” with different permalinks. Now they’re all type “standard” and permalinks for “posts” is gone (used to be /blog/post-name). We’ll have to create hierarchy and set the blog page as parent for all posts.
Does anyone have a smarter solution?
UPDATE: I was wrong, post types are still the same and the re-configuration of permalinks worked just fine.
