    The site is now displaying any images that have the same name as pages not instead of pages.

    So we have a page named, we love enfold (we-love-enfold), but the site displays the image as a post we-love-enfold.jpg and renames the page we-love-enfold-2

    I am deleting these images where I have found this issue and then I can rename the page without the -2. But this isn’t a solution as we need those images and I’m having to rename them and relink them and I am unable to test the site for all instances of this occuring.

    I have saved permalinks again, no change.

    Hey finchkelsey,

    Yes, because they have the same slug. Every page/post/media attachment needs a unique slug, otherwise the -2 will be added to it. This is default WordPress.
