    Kind of an odd question here, but some of the forums mentioned theme interactions, so I want to see what you think:

    My site is writing the url’s to include the /listings/ in the permalink structure. Example: http://vosburghrealty.com/listings/4809-neosho-lane-roeland-park/ Because we’ll be putting links to each home in our marketing materials when we go to sell them, I would like to list them as vosburghrealty.com/4809-neosho-lane-roeland-park/.

    I have tried a couple of plugins and some of the forum hacks, but something in WP is making me use the /listings/ text before the portfolio entry.

    Do you guys know of a way to make this work? Any ideas are helpful. :)

    Hey Angiec13!

    Yes, this is how the porfolio items will output based on the custom post type setup. I don’t know of a way to change it without modifying the theme files in this case however.

    A quick solution would be to have a developer who is comfortable with htaccess rules to make a rule to remove the /listings/ section of any permalink.
