Why are some of my site pages Permalink displaying with the directory PAGES and some don’t?
Example:
My Bio page shows up like this: http://mysite.com/2015/pages/biography/
My HOST page shows up like this: http://mysite.com/2015/hosts/
We don’t want the directory PAGES to be listed.
Hey voice903fm!
when I open the links I get “Page not found – 404 Error. The Page you are looking for is not here.”
Please flush your permalinks going to Settings->Permalinks->click Save Changes (make sure all settings are correct).
Regards,
Andy
LOL Andy you must be working too hard……LOL the link you clicked were EXAMPLES I said that. The true links are in the PRIVATE DATA section of the post for the Moderators. Please look again.
Hey!
Did you set any parent page for these two pages? Do you have any seo plugin?
Cheers!
Ismael
Hi Josue, thanks for showing me this data. I don’t know how to locate the area that set the page to a parent page other then the actual page and to the far right in the Page Attributes section and it clearly states No Parent. So that’s why I said it wasn’t.
Base on what you showed me I simply cloned the page and rename the original. So now every thing is fine. Close this post.
