    I’m creating a post which needs to include some code samples, so I’m using the Preformatted option in WordPress for these.

    I’ve noticed that they include an additional leading and trailing line which I can’t seem to remove – see example below.

    Is there a way to remove these or is there a better option to include code samples in blog posts?

    Thanks

    Hi databuzz!

    Please do ask the plugin author, who will be able to assist you further with that issue.
    Thanks a lot for your patience and understanding.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure which “plugin author” you are referring to here?

    I’m just using WordPress with the Enfold theme and writing a blog post and setting some text to “performed” as the style in the editor. I don’t believe I’m using a plugin for this?

    thanks

    Hi,

    Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold–>General Styling:

    pre {
    padding: 0em !important;
    }
