    Before I bought this theme I checked it with seobility.net and the performance (loading time) is 0,14 s. (https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/)
    Now with my new site online (dimension3plus.de) my own performance is only 1,29 s – that’s way to slow for a good SEO.
    How comes? What can I do to improve the speed?

    Thanks. Now I know optimizing loading speed is no piece of cake. Using a cache plugin helped a bit.

    Hi Olaf,

    That PHP version is a bit low, WordPress officially recommends 5.6 or higher. If you have the ability to run 7+ then I would recommend you do so since it’s much faster. If you post a link to your site then we might be able to give you some more advise.

    If you want to hire someone to do it for you then I recommend that you contact a service like SteadyWP.

    Thanks guys,
    I didn’t even know that I could update the PHP Version by myself. I just have the current version PHP Version 7.1.6-nmm1 installed.
    My google pagespeed rised from 62/100 to 66/100 points. That’s great!
