See privateAh ha! I found the culprit and it was not Enfold. It was the wp-optimize plugin.
See: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-optimize-killed-all-my-websites/ but the timing of Enfold changes occurred during exact timeframe. Craziness!CLOSE TICKET!
