Hi,
how do I figure out the perfect image sizes to use for the sliders etc in the Enfold Restaurant demo theme? For example, there is a photo in the slider on the about page, but only the top area is visible. How do I find out how big (high) the visible area is and what width the photo should have? It would actually make sense if the photo then only had the height that is also visible or do you need the entire height of the demo photo because of the mobile view (mobile phone)?Thanks in advance for the dimensions.

I’m not sure which image you are referring to since there’s no slider on the about page. I’m guessing that you mean the top section with the background image? If so, then I would recommend that you try to use an image which is at least 1500 pixels wide.

RikardThx, yes, I meant the picture that you see at the top. But I meant the visible height.
You can only see the upper part of the photo, so it doesn’t make sense to choose an almost square format, does it?

Height of that section is 280px but your image does not have to be the exact size. This is the image that was used as background in that section – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-restaurant/wp-content/uploads/sites/39/2014/07/coffee.jpg. You can simply edit the background settings and position it at the top center or bottom depending on which portion of the image you would like to display.

YigitThat’s a very good tip, thanks! Because that was exactly the problem, that the upper part of the photo is always displayed, which is usually not really exciting. ;-)
