Hi there. My website needs to be password protected at all times. The only plugin I have found for this is “Password Protected”. Once I have the plugin activated, I run into caching issues with the website. Are you able to take a look to see if Enfold is the cause of this issue? I will make changes and then they will not reflect on mobile. If I flush the cache with my hosting provider (Flywheel) the page I am working on will revert to the homepage and won’t let me access it.

I have the plugin off right now since I am trying to make changes.

    Please help! Thank you!

Can I have any assistance with this?

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, were you using the maintenance redirect and the Password Protected at the same time?
The plugin says: “does not work with some caching setups.”
Clearing caches will often force you to have to login again.
Another plugin recommended by users is Hide My Site, perhaps this will work better.

    Best regards,
    Mike

I will check that plugin out.

I just turned on maintenance mode due to the client. I have just been using the password plugin and the site is having massive caching issues. How can I make sure that my Enfold is installed and working okay? I’m wondering if it’s the theme.

    Hi,
When I examined your site I didn’t find any errors, and saw that you were not using the Enfold Theme Options > Performance > JS & CSS file merging and compression at this time, but in the future if you add a caching plugin or Autoptimize please don’t minify the JS files twice, that is once in Enfold and again in a caching plugin.
Also please don’t enable Enfold Theme Options > Performance > Load jQuery in your footer or have another plugin Load jQuery in your footer, it can cause strange behavior.
So right now I don’t see anything that could be causing an error.

    Best regards,
    Mike
