Hello!
I am having trouble with the Visibility function on Pages for the latest Enfold version (4.5.4).
The problem is this: when using the Advanced Layout Editor, I’m unable to click on the “Visibility” link to change it from Public to Password Protected (or any other status for that matter). Here’s a screenshot: https://cl.ly/64dc37416221A few things I tested:
I am running Enfold on two sites, one has the latest version installed (Enfold 4.5.4) and one is slightly behind (Enfold 4.5.2). This functionality works on the older version.
The Visibility pop up appears in the new version if I first switch to “Default Editor”, set the password, then switch back to the “Advanced Layout Editor” This solves my problem, but isn’t elegant.
I deactivated all plugins to ensure there wasn’t a conflictThanks!

Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately, there were a few quirks with the new “Block editor” that the dev team has been sorting out, this sounds like another one because you say that switching to the Classic Editor solves this.
The dev team is just about to release the next version of Enfold and there is a very good possibility that you won’t experience this error with it.
I would recommend leaving this thread open and reporting back after testing the new version, will that be reasonable?Best regards,

Will report back if we still experience issues after the next update.March 17, 2019 at 5:09 pm #1079650March 27, 2019 at 10:12 pm #1083802Hello,
The same issue is still unresolved in Enfold 4.5.5. Works only on default editor mode, but not advanced layout editor. I’m viewing using Firefox.
Any suggestion on how to address the issue?
Thanks,
Nik
March 30, 2019 at 4:25 am #1084774Hi,
I tested by adding a password to my “About Us” page that was created using the ALB
Then I went to the page, logged in, & logged out, in Chrome & Firefox and in all 4 cases I was asked for a password:
and after I gave the password the page was reloaded to chow the content. This seems to be working correctly.
What happens when you follow these steps? Could your error be from a plugin? Please include an admin login in the Private Content area so I can test your site?
Best regards,
Mike -
