Hi,
I am trying out the “Restrict Content” plugin but as soon as I install it, the Avia Layout Builder stops working.
a) why might this happen?
b) do you recommend any password protected content plugins that play nice with Enfold?
Thanks
October 20, 2016 at 10:03 pm #702108Hi xuamox!
Restrict Content pro does work with ALB, I have tested it as I am also using it!
Let me know what is not working properly and we will get things shorted out. Thanks a lot

BasilisOctober 20, 2016 at 10:04 pm #702109Hi Basilis,
Right now I am just using Restrict Content – free version.
I install it, and then I go to a page, and the ALB content never loads. It just hangs there. As soon as I deactivate the Restrict Content plugin, then it works again.
The Restrict Content guys said this:
“Avia does not work well with the body of the post called the_content. Because of this issue, you would need some custom development to get things to work correctly.”
Thanks

RikardMay 15, 2017 at 8:13 am #793185Hi there – I’m picking up on this thread as I’m looking to purchase Restrict Content Pro (RCP) and use it for my membership side of my site. I touched by with RCP Support and asked them if their plugin works ok with Enfold. Their reply:
“Unfortunately we have had some reports of Enfold’s page builder causing problems with RCP. This is because they use a proprietary method of showing content that bypasses the normal display method and makes plugins unable to hook in to hide (restrict) content. You’ll probably run into this problem with any plugin that tries to restrict or modify content in some way.
If you’re not using Enfold’s page builder on restricted pages, then I believe RCP should work fine. :)”
I’m wanting to clarify that I’ll be ok to purchase the plugin and my site will be ok. Is that the case?
And xuamox – did you get it to work in the end?
Thanks for your help.
