Hi,
I’m using WPML with Enfold and Mailchimp. The Mailchimp form, however, doesn’t seem to pass the ‘Language’ parameter onto Mailchimp. Is there a way to do this? If I could pass the language of the subscriber then I wouldn’t have to look for alternatives, because Enfold Mailchimp functionality does the job.Thanks,

Do you have the signup form translated in each of your languages or do you have one signup form for everything?
Check this out, it might help: https://mailchimp.com/help/translate-signup-forms-and-emails/#autoBest,

yes I have translated the sign-up forms. However, my question was slightly different. The Enfold sign-up form works as expected with one caveat. It does not pass the language of the user to Mailchimp. Is there a way to do this? I need it to pass the language of the site depending on which of the sign-up forms is used on a multilingual site. Ideally, I want all subscribers to be on one Mailchimp list and then to segment them by the language.
Hope this is more clear now. Is there any way to achieve this using Enfold Mailchimp form or shall I look for other solutions?
Thanks,
AndriusFebruary 26, 2019 at 4:44 am #1071620Ah I see – not sure if that is easily what you have in mind.
However, you can send the site language from the user’s browser to Mailchimp, see https://kb.mc4wp.com/send-site-language-to-mailchimpFebruary 26, 2019 at 5:08 am #1071622@michaelH,
thanks for such a quick response. However, the solution you suggested, as far as I understand, isn’t using Enfold’s out-of-the-box Mailchimp integration and instead relies on another plugin. I’ll look into this option further as it seems the OOTB Mailchimp functionality isn’t offering this.
Thanks a lot,
AndriusMarch 4, 2019 at 6:42 am #1074177Hi,
Do you want to create a single list and have it display on different language based on the visitor’s browser? Have you tried to enable the auto translation?
// https://mailchimp.com/help/translate-signup-forms-and-emails/#Enable_Auto-Translate
The theme cannot submit extra info using the API apart from the value of the existing form fields.
Best regards,
