    Hi, I just tried to install Enfold via WordPress’s theme installer and received this message:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in … wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/asset-manager.class.php on line 15
    What code do I need to adjust/change in the PHP file?
    My login is in private….

    I also tried downloading the WordPress Only file from themeforest, unzipping, and uploading to FTP overwrite the Enfold folder, but I still get the error.

    Hey,

    I deactivated Enfold and tried to login but credentials are not working for me. Could you please check admin logins once again?

    Please contact HostGator and asked them to upgrade PHP version to 7.0 :)

    I’ve also updated this specific directory to PHP 7 per your request

    Hey,

    I am sorry, i should have been more clear :) I meant to say WordPress admin logins did not work. I tried logins here as well but those did not work either. The last error you got seems to be related to infinite-addons plugin. If you could please check WordPress admin logins once again i believe we can find the issue quicker :)

    I deactivated Infinite Addons plugin, activated Enfold and then activated Infinite Addons and now i cannot see any issues. Could you please check your website once again and let us know if you need further assistance? :)

    Ah, it’s fixed!! Thank you so much! Is there anything I can do in the future to prevent or fix this?

    Well, there can be some issues on the way the sequence of scripts is been loaded.
    nothing you can do to avoid it in feature we are afraid.

    Yes, you can install the child theme – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/. I believe issue was related to your PHP version and when your hosting provider upgraded it, problem solved.
