After I’ve installed the latest update of Enfold theme, I’m getting this error message:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”colum’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting ‘]’ in /home/.sites/341/site215/web/dev/neu/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/contentslider.php on line 394”

Is it a known problem? How can I fix it?

    Thanks, Bernie

    Hi bjobst!

No, but I guess the php file is corrupt. Please try to re-upload/re-install the theme files with ftp. See: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

    Regards,
    Peter

I got the exact same error, and simply deleted the file contentslider.php, and so far everything is back to normal. I am still looking for anything that might have broken by removing that file. Peter, can you confirm how risky this approach is? What exactly does contentslider.php do?

    Thanks,

    Chris

I deleted the existing enfold theme folder via FTP and uploaded the new zip file directly in wordpress. That worked for me since I’m using a child theme for customization.
