Today I wanted to continue adding new pages under the parent I have been working on this week. To my surprise, the parent section under Page Attributes has a bunch of pages missing and others are duplicates.
For example, half the pages under
are missing, but the locations section is on here twice.
NOTABLE CHANGES
On 4/4 the wordpress updated from 4.9.10 to 5.1.1
I was able to continue pages without issue until this morning on 4/5
wpengine reset an email for user to bitbucket (their support) on 4/5 but wpengine says it was not an issue on their end, that it looks like an issue on the theme itself. I have not been able to create pages after this.I’ve updated plugins today as suggested by wpengine – no change
Our theme is up-to-date- This topic was modified 5 years, 8 months ago by AM-EventSolutions.
April 8, 2019 at 12:32 am #1088073Hey A,
Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the login but it doesn’t have admin access so I couldn’t really investigate. I see that you are using Enfold v4.5.1, our latest version is v4.5.5, please try updating first and see if that helps.
Now when you say your pages are not under the correct parent pages,
do you mean in the menu or in the backend under all pages?
When you say you can’t create new pages, do you mean that you get an error message or does the site give you a spinning wheel and doesn’t update?Best regards,
MikeApril 8, 2019 at 6:13 pm #1088398Hi Mike,
I have changed the admin status.
In regards to updating, the token which is valid and purchased by myself is giving me an error so it will not update. The token works for creating admin support here and I show 8 months of support still left and just purchased this theme in December. I have tried several times to re-enter the token (as I saw this is something that happens in another thread here), but I always get this message:
Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:
Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)Following errors occured:
Purchases: Your private token is invalid.
username Your private token is invalid.
email Your private token is invalid.
Purchases: A problem occured accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates. The description of the problem is this:
When creating a page, I need to select a PARENT page under PAGE ATTRIBUTES
The ALL PAGES and MENU are fine, they show the proper pages but the PARENT PAGES under PAGE ATTRIBUTES does not. It is a mix of duplicates and missing sections. PAGE ATTRIBUTES is found under the SETTINGS section on the editor of the backend.I CAN technically create pages, but the urls are all incorrect because I cannot select the correct parent page. Given all the pages I need to create are under these parents, I, therefore, cannot progress on the population of content for this site.
April 9, 2019 at 2:02 pm #1088663Hi,
Since you are getting the error that your token is invalid, please create a new token and ensure that you give it the correct permissions
Please see here How to generate a Envato Personal Token
When I look at your “Token” it looks like the old API with dashes, I don’t believe the new Token has dashes.Best regards,
MikeApril 9, 2019 at 7:44 pm #1088834Hi Mike,
I’ve updated the theme and now the parent page option is missing completely.
It was under page attributes, but now it is no longer showing. I checked other areas too, I cannot find any place to select a parent page.
The only things under Page Attributes are “Template” and “Order”. Parent Page was between those elements previously.
I have been unable to work on this site for three days now. Please help.
Thank you,
