    I can’t seem to make parallax work. I would like to do a lot of this: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v9-videos-and-parallax/ But I can’t find the feature on/off anywhere. I would also love to have shortcode features over parallax images (similar to the center image on the demo above). My site: http://fusewm.com

    Hi KirinDesign!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Edit the Color Section, look for the Background Attachment option then set it to fixed or parallax. This is set by default on Fullscreen slider elements.

    I’m using the Fullscreen Easy slider at the top, and the Layer slider in the middle (above the team element).

    I’ve read several places to use the Color Section, but can’t seem to find it. Is it in slider settings, or in element settings? I’d love to have various sections with a different background color, too (like the team section with a different color OR with a parallax image behind). Have I totally missed a portion of the tutorial?

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

    You can find the Color Section element on the Layout Elements panel along with the 1/1 column etc.

    Ok, so I got the parallax working using the Color Section. Doesn’t this render any other slider useless? I had words going across my main image using the fullwidth easy slider. I put words without an image in the regular Easy Slider over top the color section that renders my main image, but they don’t show. The fullwidth easy slider won’t go into a color section. I feel like I’m either still missing something incredibly simple or the theme was made too complicated.

    I removed them because I couldn’t get them working with the Color Section.

    How do I overlay elements in the Color Section (like fly in words, etc)?

    Hi!

    The color sections themselves are for overlaying static content. The demo home page at the top uses a fullscreen slider which should show the parallax effect by default.

    This video shows creating something more like the “A beautiful experience section” which has the color section and then content on top of it: https://vimeo.com/64927358

    The last one of the page has a video background instead of an image. The LayerSlider slideshows unfortunately don’t have a parallax option so for those kinds of slideshows the background will be a static image.
