Hi,
I have a news site with a lot of categories. For each category I have created a landing page with a blog post element displaying the first four posts, then I have a newsletter sign up form and another blog post element showing another four posts (with an offset so as to not repeat the first four). Underneath this I have a button to see more posts from the category.
On the page that this button is linked to I have the blog post content element with pagination. The element is set to start after the first 8 posts (as they are on the previous page). When you click on page two it’s not showing from article 16, it’s stuck looking at 8 onwards.
Can you help? I have posted a link to one example of where I am seeing this occur on our development site in private content.
Cheers,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- the URL to the login screen
- a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
- as well as a password for that username
Best regards,

June 2, 2016 at 6:27 am #641850Hi,
Thank you for the info. We are not sure why the pagination is stuck to the first 8 items. Did you modify the postslider.php file? If we set the Offset Number settings to “Do now allow duplicates”, the pagination is working. Is that ok as a temporary workaround for now?
Best regards,

At first I thought this work around was okay but on closer review (before rolling it out on about 15 other pages) it would seem not as now on the MORE page where I have the blog post content element with pagination (which you have set to not allow duplicates) it’s showing all the posts from that category including the 8 that would have been seen by the reader on the page that they just come from. I haven’t modified the postslider.php file.
I don’t suppose you have any other ideas about how this can be achieved.

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
