My blog/news page (using grid layout) does not only contain news items but also different page items.
Any idea why that is and how to get rid of them in my news items?News page can be found here: http://diaconaalsteunpunt.nl/nieuws/
Examples of page items:
first page, bottom right element
second page, third row, second element

not really… i just added some news item, so the first ‘page entry’ has now moved to the the top of the next screen :-)
In the mean time I tried the masonary layout for news and selected some categories, but that didnt fix the problem. The pages still showed up…Hope you can help me out.

Thank you for the info.
If you want to select which categories to show on your news page. First, set the Blog Style on Enfold > Blog Layout to Use the advance layout builder option. Edit the Nieuws page then add the Blog Posts element. Select the categories that you want to show on the news page. I updated your options, you just need to select the categories on the Blog Posts element: http://diaconaalsteunpunt.nl/wp-admin/post.php?post=18&action=edit

I found out what caused it!
I have been using the plugin ‘Post Tags and Categories for Pages’.
The pages that showed up on my blog both had a Category set to them.
When I removed the category the pages stopped showing up on my blog.
So that fixed it for now.I ‘m not sure this is a desired feature or maybe a bug?
For me I would think on my blog only news items will be shown and no pages, regardless of their categories or tags…Thanks for your help and replies. Love the theme. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to what you guys have in store for us!
