Pages Loading Incorrectly

I am having repeated problems with the formatting of my pages when they load first time, some examples of which include:

– all content is bunched up (and a fraction of its normal size) over on the right hand side of the page
– colour blocks which are narrow and inter-spaced with white background become enormous and stretching from colour block to colour block extending behind areas of text or images that they shouldn’t
– the text/content stretches across the full width rather than just the central column.

Generally if you reload the page it sorts itself out, but it is hugely impacting my bounce rates! I don’t know what is causing it – please help!
