    Theme: Enfold, Version 2.7.1
    WP: 4.4.2

Since a WP/plugin update I performed in December I cannot edit the text in the containers any more: Once I choose a page from the menu a circular “loading” icon appears and that’s it. Strangely, when I right-click on the “Edit” button and choose the option “open the link in a new window” I can edit the content again (that’s why I postponed my request). Since a few days, I also lost the LayerSlider WP plugin that seems to have come with the theme and which is used to show the banner om the frontpage. That is: I can access and edit the Slider but it is neglected by the theme and not displayed in the page any more. Any idea?

    Hey seriouschicken!

You are using a very old version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.4.7 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Dear support team,
my problem is still pending. As suggested by Yigit I tried to update my theme, The problem is, that the person who purchased the theme is gone and with him the access data…So I registered as a new user at teamforest and requested an API-key that I entered in “Theme options>Theme update”. Now the theme pretends to be updated, but the problem persists…

    Hi!

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?

    Hi!

How did you update the theme? Where did you get the theme files? The mobile menu script doesn’t seem to be working. Please get a fresh copy the of the theme from themeforest then override the js folder.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismail,
the theme has been purchased by the designer who made the webiste. I asked hime for the theme-forest login-data, he gave me a batch of zipped installation files which I uploaded to the server. I will try to re-install the js folder and see if it helps.

    Hi Mike,

Ok, please let us know if you get it solved or not. I would try to get access to the Themeforest account so that you know where the files are actually coming from instead of relying on someone else.

    Regards,
    Rikard

Sorry, I was offline for a week. Here is my update: I re-installed the js directory. Now the menu icon for mobile devices has been restored. As far as I can see everything is working fine. The bloke who designed the page promised me to link my themeforest account to the theme he purchased for us. So I hope to get the necessary updates in the future from the proper source and not the roundabout way.
Could you please let me know if there is any possibility to transfer our product key from one account to another, provided that both account holders agree, of course.

hm year, changing account could be possible. Let us know exactly when you are sure and provide us all details.

    Best regards,
    Andy
