If I remove a page from the menu, will it be removed from the “Pages”? I want to remove all the possible home pages from the menu with the exception of the one I use but don’t want to loose them in case I want to change the type of home page I use in the future.

    Hi woodbridgeoffice!

Your talking about in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus? Yes you can remove any of the links you see and save the menu. It will not affect your actual pages.

Yes I think we are talking about the same area… “menu,” but I’m not talking about links. I have downloaded all the dummy content so I can use the same layout and just replace the content with my stuff. So, for example, in the menu section it has the Home page menu with all the possible home pages listed as a drop down. I want to have those pages available to me in case I choose to use one of those layouts in the future, but I think if I remove if from the list, it gets removed from the “pages” and I will no longer have it available. Is this true and is there a way to keep all the pages I down loaded for possible future use. I find the help in the documentation difficult so any specific instructions would be helpful.

    Hi!

No, it’s not going to remove the actual pages. If you want to add them again then just click on the “Pages” dropdown on the left hand side and select which pages you wish to add to the menu again.

If I’m misunderstanding then take a screenshot and highlight what is going on so we can get a better idea.
