I was working on a page, updating it periodically, and then I noticed that the rendered page design was not changing. I exited ALB (it asked if I wanted to leave or stay, which was another indication that the design hadn’t been saved). Whenever I re-enter the page to work on it, it shows its shortcode markup and I have to switch to the Advanced Layout Editor. Still updating the page fails and I can’t even look at past revisions. They flash onscreen briefly and then I see “Sorry, something went wrong. The requested comparison could not be loaded.” Is there anything I can do to reclaim this page?
Hey fogelfish,
Please try enabling debug mode under Enfold->Layout Builder->Show Advanced options, then copy all the shortcodes from the page in question to a new page to see if that helps.
Best regards,
Rikard
Rikard, thank you for the suggestion. I copied the shortcodes but that didn’t get rid of a problem that first developed with the page margins when this issue appeared, but creating templates from all the sub-sections and using those in a new page brought back the original design without any lingering issues.
