May 18, 2016 at 5:33 pm #634672Hi guys, Hopefully a quick question – if there is ever such a thing ;-) When using the Blog Posts content element option and Pagination turned on, is there a way of changing the title of each of the pages that gets generated? This is currently being flagged up as a duplicate page title on my seo reports so it would be great to just append something simple like Page-1, Page-2 etc. Is this possible? Thanks

RikardMay 19, 2016 at 10:52 am #635103Hi Rikard, Thanks for your reply – links attached. Hopefully you will see that they all have the same Title and Meta descriptions and are being flagged as On-Page SEO issues that need correcting. I am not too sure how to get aroud this with Pagination set on. All help greatly apreciated! Thanks,
MarcMay 21, 2016 at 2:45 am #636099Hi, If you have WP SEO plugin installed, you can go to the SEO > Title & Metas > Other panel then tick the “Noindex subpages of archives”. This will add the rel=”canonical” attribute to the page preventing duplicated pages and this will also prevent those pages from being displayed in the SERPS. Best regards,
IsmaelMay 21, 2016 at 1:34 pm #636194Thanks Ismael, I do have WP SEO installed and know the option you’ve suggested. I am guessing that’s the problem… I ‘DO’ want my blog posts to be searched and indexed in search engines as they contain a lot of relevant content. Wouldn’t using ‘noindex’ harm my SEO by excluding these posts or have i misunderstood this concept? Thanks
