January 10, 2016 at 8:39 am #562652Hi Jasmer!
Are you using any SEO plugins such as YOAST SEO? It is easy to configure using a SEO plugin.
Please refer to

Best regards,
VinayJanuary 10, 2016 at 10:04 am #562680I have not installed Yoast on this site, but I do use it. However, this should not require a 3rd party plugin to title a page correctly. Can you explain to me why I cannot correctly title this page?

January 13, 2016 at 5:15 am #564328Hi,
I’m not sure why it’s doing that to be honest, but you can change it by using an SEO plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/“>Yoast or change the site settings under Appearance–>Customize.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 13, 2016 at 7:32 am #564382I am intimately familiar with Yoast. I just try to avoid overriding with a third party plugin something that should be basic functionality.
I don’t really see how to change it under Appearance–>Customize. Can you give specific directions for that? That should do it.
Thanks Rikard
January 14, 2016 at 8:12 am #565232Hi!
We added a little code in the child theme’s functions.php file. http://ransomcollective.com/
You can remove that when the site goes live.
Cheers!
IsmaelJanuary 14, 2016 at 8:18 am #565236Thank you so much, but I’m trying to figure out what the problem is. I’m not trying to band-aid the problem, I’m trying to solve the problem and find out why this site is behaving differently from my other Enfold sites. The reason is, I want to use this for a template for other coming soon pages and I don’t want to add code to the Child Theme functions file every time. I really appreciate you help. Do you have any idea what is causing this?
Thanks guys,
Jas

January 16, 2016 at 4:45 am #566423Hi!
It is happening because you set the “Coming Soon” page to be the front page and the title is set to get the bloginfo (get_bloginfo(‘name’)) name when you’re on the home page. You can look for the avia_set_title_tag function in the framework > php > function-set-avia-frontend.php.

IsmaelJanuary 16, 2016 at 4:50 am #566426Hi Ismael,
I think it is easier I just solve it with Yoast from now on. I can override with that I assume. Thank you for your help.
You can close this topic.
Thanks!
