    Hello:
    my page speed currently is pretty bad according to google page insights (see screenshot below). However, when I look to the details in particular Response Time of the server seems to be at least a part of the problem.
    In order to check the server’s performance my provider has installed a test-file and calling this over google page insight results in 100% performance. According to this my provider sees the problem on the theme.

    My Question: Do you have any hint in this issue?

    Also, Google PSI doesn’t actually measure speed on your site. You should using Pingdom or GTMetrics for that.

    If you should need help speeding your site up then I can recommend contacting a service like SteadyWP.
