    Hi there, I’m struggling to change the slug of two of my pages, at some point there must have been a duplicate and -2 is being added to the end. Having read the forum advice I deleted the pages I had trashed and have waited 48 hours, still unchangeable. Please help! Website and log in provided

    Thankyou for the article Victoria, I have read this and others and I am still unable to resolve the problem. The pages are listed in the private content for you. I’d like to avoid creating entirely new pages as these are the full names of the athletes and so this is something that I cannot compromise on – I just need the -2 removing. This is also the final task before publishing the site. Thanks in advance

    Hi dxbEmily,

    I don’t think it’s gonna work, you probably need a plugin for that or a plugin for redirection. This is not really a theme function, it’s a general WordPress issue.
