I am trying to edit a page and it will not load in the wp editor. All I get is the spinning dial… for an hour. I have to say, I have had nothing but problems with this program since I started!
April 20, 2016 at 5:26 pm #618512Same problem here! Please help! Login credentials attached. My whole site is now blank because I cannot make updates. Spinning wheel.
April 20, 2016 at 5:39 pm #618522Hi. I had the same issue and solved it by disableing the plugins. The plugin that hamperred my site was Google Analytics, Monster Insights.
Cheers, Ben
April 20, 2016 at 5:39 pm #618524Hey!
You are currently using an older version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.5.3 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
Cheers!
YigitApril 20, 2016 at 5:55 pm #618545I am not a techie, and all I can tell you is this constant messing with the functionality stinks!! I have no idea how to do this manual upload and I only purchased this thing a couple months ago and I am already having this much trouble. Not happy and am about ready to spread the word and complain mightily to the guy who suggested this.
April 20, 2016 at 6:06 pm #618549Hey!
WordPress update caused the issue and theme update fixes it. You can post WP admin logins credentials and FTP logins here privately and we can update the theme for you but you should always have the updated version of all softwares at all times.
Cheers!
YigitApril 20, 2016 at 6:47 pm #618580I have done the best I can to follow your instructions and it is still not working. What on earth did I spend my money for??
April 20, 2016 at 8:42 pm #618677Still not working!
April 20, 2016 at 8:55 pm #618684Hey!
You are not updating your theme. I already told you that you need to update your theme to fix the issue and that we are willing to update the theme for you. We need WordPress admin logins credentials (that you can create in Users > Add New with user role of Administrator) and FTP logins (your hosting provider should have provided you with it. If they have not, you can contact them and request these logins).
If these are too technical for you, please ask the person who have created your website to contact us or someone else who can help you, so we can give the instructions we have posted above to them.Regards,
YigitApril 20, 2016 at 9:46 pm #618734I followed the instructions you sent earlier and still nothing. The guy who set this up wants $125 to turn on the updates… shouldn’t that have done in the first place?
Are you asking for all of my log in information?
I can try to get that. I am still not finding this user friendly at all.
At this point though, I may just write the whole thing off because except for the first few days, nothing loaded very well. Rather than spend more time and money since this seems to be the trend here.
So far I would not recommend this service or the guy who sold me your stuff.
April 20, 2016 at 10:12 pm #618747Hi!
First of all, please note that we have no connection whatsoever with the person who had setup the theme for you. We sell premium WordPress themes and provide support for technical issues.
They should have added username and API key in Enfold theme options so that you can receive auto updates. Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.
Cheers!
YigitApril 20, 2016 at 10:42 pm #618757I know you don’t have any connection, but I am feeling pretty frustrated with the whole thing at this point and am really regretting using your product.
I did (to the best of my understanding) put in the api key. And nothing changed.
What am I suppose to do with your download??? Remember… no understanding here.
April 21, 2016 at 12:48 am #618801Ok, it says I have the latest update 3.4.7 The problem persists. What now?

April 21, 2016 at 9:42 am #619011Hey!
We need to take a closer look to help you better please create a temporary user with ‘administrator’ role and share in private content with permission to deactivate all plugins and add custom code if necessary to help you resolve this issue.
Cheers!
VinayApril 21, 2016 at 10:48 am #619034I am experiencing the same problem on two separate sites with both 3.4.7 and 3.5.3. Tried to deactivate Monster Insights and that did not help. Kriesi, keep up the good spirit and good luck with solving and/or finding what causes this!
April 21, 2016 at 11:37 am #619063I have the same problem after updating to Enfold 3.5.3 wordpress 4.5 : Spinning wheel

April 21, 2016 at 2:35 pm #619197I have created a new log in… I think… Does this give you access?
April 21, 2016 at 2:37 pm #619198It has been more than 12 hours since I set the auto update and still nothing.
April 21, 2016 at 5:05 pm #619263Hello… is anybody there??
April 22, 2016 at 12:08 pm #619810April 22, 2016 at 7:45 pm #620185So, this seems to be related to auto-save in some way. b’cause it is not “just spinning” on all pages, but on some it just keeps on being troublesome. on pages I can pass it by recovering a previous version of the page, but portfolios seem really broken once the spinner gets there. Is there a way you could have a second look at this?
April 22, 2016 at 8:29 pm #620199I have the same problem, and I see that it happens only in the advanced editor. The default editor seems to work ok for me, but it makes editing pages made using the advanced editor impossible.
April 22, 2016 at 9:59 pm #620237Yes, BeyondBOLD. I too find it only in the advanced editor. I can generally live with the default, but I have some large and complex files which are nearly impossible to edit in the default. The primary reason I spent the money was to have the advanced editor.
I have learned a few things. If you are using a script, such as google adsense, this needs to be placed within a widget. These were the instructions I received finally:
Please go to Appearance > Widgets and create a new widget area and then add text widget inside it and place your code inside that widget. Then edit your page and add Widget Area element and then choose to display your widget area that has your code.
I think these were a couple more steps which I had to discover on my own, but, hey, at that point if I could do it, ANYBODY can.
The spinner continued to spin, but I did get it saved and now it works.
I hope this helps.
April 22, 2016 at 10:11 pm #620241Thanks anro, but it doesn’t. I used that advanced editor a LOT over the past year or two so the site looks and performs great, and not much to be done without it.
My faith in the folks here is still high, I am not running around screaming yet :)April 23, 2016 at 3:23 am #620329Hey!
@BeyondBOLD Thank you for the kind words if you still have any issue kindly request you to open a new ticket and provide us with the link to your site so we can take a look at it and help you resolve it.
@Anrp That’s great you have sorted out the issue. FYI we have put together some useful info about enfold theme please feel free to check it out here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/Regards,
VinayApril 26, 2016 at 12:13 pm #622063Hi,
If you have Wordfence installed, try to switch the firewall to learning mode for a while.
Best regards!
April 26, 2016 at 3:41 pm #622242I disabled the wordfence firewall and it works now.
