Hey there,
in the past I received numerous mails with the hint, that links containing a section ID won’t work. I have set up the section IDs to jump on a site. Once clicked on a button with a link to a section, something like this is visible in the adressbar:
http://myhomepage/startpage/#section2
If this link is accessed directly (i.e. in another browser), there will be no jump to section2. Instead of this, the user will end up on top of the page. If the user starts scrolling, suddenly he will end up in section2. This has been seen on Chrome and Safari.
Do you know a fix for this?
Thanks a lot,
Max
Hey maxndi!
The jump needs to be activated so there has to be a point inside the page. Linking from outside source would require some extra coding to be achived. You can contact one of our Customization Contractors, who will help you out with the process.

Let us know if we could do anything else, regarding our theme

I found a fix for my problem: The jump works, if the “fullwidth sub menu” is used on the page. If activated, a direct jump from outside works and leads directly to section.
Thanks and bye,
Max
