Hi,
I wondering if you can help, congrats on a great theme (enfold) and a great support forum for resources to assist in ironing out any issues. I have ran into an issue, which is causing a rather large headache. My client is using ie9 to correct some simple typos on the site within the advance page builder. When my client makes the type changes to the page it loses all formatting, all header tags, coding and also any images added to the page. I have tested the user on other browsers and it works fine the issue only occurs with ie9. This is reasonable problematic, as my client has a strict IT management who will not allow for upgrading or downloading of new browsers. Has this been bug been picked up in the past and has it been resolved? We are running WordPress 3.9.1, Enfold v2.9.1August 6, 2014 at 4:43 am #300494Hi inscribecreative!
Thank you for using Enfold.
On what page is this actually happening? A lot of users reported this issue, it turns out that they forgot to properly close html codes or tags like h1, h2, strong etc. This will erase all elements below that object.

Thank you for the info.
I edited the test page using IE9 but I can’t save the text blocks. Please try to deactivate all plugins. If possible, give us an access to deactivate the plugins while working on the site.

Does it happen without using the Advanced Layout Editor? try reproducing it here for example:

JimAugust 12, 2014 at 2:44 am #302947Hi!
I can’t imagine why that would be happening with ie9 specifically. There must be some javascript peculiarity thats causing the content to clear when the browser first renders it.
I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi but in the mean time the best and I think only solution is to tell the client that the builder isn’t compatible with IE9 specifically and have them use Firefox or Chrome.
Cheers!
