I have added featured images to my pages and when posting the webpage URL in FB, the featured image does not show properly, yet another image is pulling from the gallery, and not sure why.

The theme doesn’t have functionality for setting the image which should be used when sharing on social networks, please try using a plugin like Yoast SEO: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/
