Hi Team,
I am using Enfold theme and ACF(Advanced custom fields) and its addon repeater field, when the plugin is activated the editor doesn’t load in backend. I contacted ACF team in this regard and they said the problem is with theme and should contact theme support. Please help me fin the solution asap.
Thanks,

I have tested it on my end and it works fine with latest version of Enfold, ACF and ACF Repeater. I have tried to change your theme from the child theme to Enfold 4.1.2 and it works fine without issues, can you try to remove Enfold 3.1 probably it causes the issue or if the issue still persists, the problem should be on the child theme.
Best regards,

Are you available right now?

Deleting old version(3.1) enfold folder and activating new version along with child theme. This totally disturbing my theme styles, widgets are being set to defaults and many other problems.
I want you or some other support guy to assist me and work with me please let me know the available time when I can get live support.Thanks.
August 2, 2017 at 12:55 pm #833401Hi,
We don’t provide live support unfortunately, this is the only support channel we have besides from Themeforest. I’m not sure why you are running that old version though, wouldn’t it be better to update to the latest version and fix the problems that arise from that, then move on to getting ACF working?

The thing is when I am using latest version all my styles are getting disturbed page sections are getting disturbed, widgets content are being set to default contents etc etc.. The problem is just with ACF now but when switching to new version there are more problems along with ACF.
August 3, 2017 at 5:52 am #833748Hi,
Ok, thanks for the clarification. Though we need to be able to see the problem when it’s actually happening. Right now you have two versions of the theme installed and both seems to be 3.1? I’m not sure if that is actually the case since one has the new screenshot image under Themes, you might want to clarify that as well. Are we allowed to activate the ACF plugins and the theme on the installation you gave us access to? Also please specify exactly where and how we can reproduce the error.

There are two version files on server but for new version I renamed the folder name and for old version the actual theme name Enfold. Please refer below scenarios.
Old theme + Child theme(Active) : ACF issue– Page editor doesn’t load when ACF is active
New theme(Active) + Child theme : No ACF issue but all the custom styles and some functional things which I wrote in child theme are not being applied(Yes I know this is because child theme is not active) and also all the widgets content are setting to default.
New Theme + Old theme (Active): : ACF issue, styles doesn’t apply, Widgets issue.
You are allowed to activate the plugins but the widgets are switching to default every time I switch to new theme an this is being re work for me to set all the widgets again.
Hope my explanation makes sense for you to understand my issue. Looking forward to listen from you asap and finding a solution for this.
Thanks.

August 9, 2017 at 5:28 am #836122Hi,
I’m very sorry for the late response. I checked the site but it’s still using version 3.1. Please update to version 4.1.2 then we’ll check it again. Note that you might encounter a few issues because 3.1 is very old. You might also need to remodify the existing templates like the header.php file in the child theme folder.
Best regards,
