my site is http://www.woodbridgeoffice.com. Maybe you can look at it. I’m using the theme dumbing content and editing from there. One of the pages I’m using is the “Gallery” page. It has a bunch of stuff in a right column that appears to be blog info etc. I’m not having a blog for this site I would like to get ride of that whole column or at least what is there. When I open the page to edit it, I don’t see how to make any changes to that right column. could you please help direct me? I’m new WP so as much instruction as possible would help.
January 15, 2015 at 12:23 am #379814Look in Theme Options, Sidebar Settings.
January 15, 2015 at 7:23 pm #380312Hi!
That’s called the sidebar. You can set the default behaviour for your pages and posts to a no sidebar layout in Dashboard > Enfold > Sidebar Settings like Windsong suggested.
If you wish to change the widgets that are displayed on your sidebar then you can do so in Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.

ElliottJanuary 15, 2015 at 9:23 pm #380450Thanks, I’m used to developing web sites with MS Expression web templates. I’m not only learning a new application, It seems I have to unlearn things. Any, I found what you were saying and when I tried to choose no side bar, when I saved it, I got a message that said saving didn’t work, reload page and try again. I’ve reloaded, shut everything down and still keep getting this message…any ideas?
January 15, 2015 at 9:35 pm #380463In addition to my saving problem in the last response, I looked at the theme documentation. It says – Sidebar options:
“•Select the default location of the Page Sidebar. Can be overwriten for each Page individually on the edit Page screen”
This sounds like to me that I should be able to remove a side bar for any given page rather than all of them on the edit page screen (open the page from pages?) I see a drop down for sidebars but nothing that gets rid of it.January 16, 2015 at 7:33 pm #381040Hi!
Yes it’s on the right hand side when you edit your page. That’s not working for you? Send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

ElliottJanuary 20, 2015 at 4:20 pm #382527Hi Elliott,
It is working today. I’m not sure what was going on but last week I would make changes and they didn’t work and in some cases would get a message the saved changes didn’t work. That said, could you help me with the following:
If I do want a side bar, how do I edit the content. I don’t see anything in the editing window.
Is there instructions somewhere in the documentation that explains how to set up a contact page? I have not found it.January 20, 2015 at 6:37 pm #382582I have a contact page mostly set up. Am I right in guessing I have to set up “Google Places” for this company before I can change the map? If so, how do I change the map afterwards, or….
January 21, 2015 at 6:06 pm #383219Hi!
If you want to display a map on your contact page you can use our google maps element. Just click on the “Media Elements” tab in our avia layout builder and drag the google maps element to your page content.
You can then edit the shortcode to setup your address, etc etc.
Cheers!
ElliottJanuary 22, 2015 at 5:46 pm #383819I put in the google map element with the address of the business. The little icon that shows where on the map it is suppose to be is several blocks away from where it is supposed to be. You can see it on the bottom of our contact page. The placement should be at the corner of Bradley and RT 63 on the right side of Bradley Rd if you are traveling to Rt 63
January 23, 2015 at 7:54 pm #384586Hey!
It has trouble with certain addresses sometimes. Try creating the marker on the google maps website, https://www.google.com/maps, and then copy the embed code it gives you and paste it inside a codeblock element.

ElliottJanuary 23, 2015 at 10:24 pm #384678I clicked on the link you gave me for Google maps. The only thing I can see I can do there is put in the address. It shows it still shows it in the wrong place. I don’t see or understand how to create a marker where I want it, or to get a code. If I did, I’m not sure how or where I would put it in the theme
January 26, 2015 at 9:11 am #385294Hey!
Please refer to this link on how to embed google maps: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/3544418?hl=en
Get the iframe code then place it inside a code block on the advance layout builder.

IsmaelJanuary 28, 2015 at 12:17 am #386711Ok, I get how to get the code from Google maps, but the pin location is still off from. On google maps you can actually see the office park building outlines and the location pin is way off. 1 Bradley Rd. Woodbridge CT
January 28, 2015 at 10:27 pm #387430Hey!
You should be able to set the marker to the exact location you need if your copying the embed code from the Google website.
Does it still display weird in the default WordPress theme? If so then it would be best to consult Google support about this, https://support.google.com/.
Best regards,
