Hi!
I am a big fan of the Page Content element.
On my website I use it to show the same buttons en headers on different pages.
After the introduction I experimented with this element. The best way to use it for me:
Create a page with only the content (in my case buttons or a header) I want to show on different pages.
Leave the page on the Concept status.
Place the Page Content element on a page and refer to the Concept page. This was working perfectly… until the latest update :-(
Now it only works when I publish the page with only the buttons.
But then the page is visible in the menu and is searchable for Google. Was this change foreseen? Or is it collateral damage?
Are you planning to changes this back it the next update? … I hope so! This was a briljant feature.- This topic was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by vincentvanderwielen.

I’m not sure exactly what changed to be honest with you, but our developers are aware of the problem. I’ve reached out to them again to check the status for this fix. Please reply to this thread once you have read it, so that it gets added back to our support queue.

Thank you for the tip!
For now that will solve the problem with search engines.
Now we wait for the solution to put the pages back on Concept ;-)Vincent
January 8, 2021 at 3:59 am #1270997Hi Vincent and Ludwig,
I talked to our developers yesterday, and they told me that there will likely be a fix in the next release of the theme. I don’t have anything to offer you at this time though.

RikardJune 9, 2021 at 6:28 pm #1304957Hi Rikard,
It has been a few updates ago my problem started.
Is there a fix to be expected?Best regards,
VincentJune 11, 2021 at 5:16 am #1305180Hi Vincent,
This problem has already been fixed, and it’s implemented in the version you are running. I’m not sure exactly what you are doing on the backend, but please publish your pages privately, it should work as expected then.

RikardJune 14, 2021 at 6:45 pm #1305663Hi Rikard,
Thanks for the response and I am happy to hear it is fixed.
But it is not working for me yet. When I change the status of the page with the buttons to Concept, the buttons disappear from the page with the Page Content Element.
Before the initial update the Page Content Element would also show pages in Concept (as I describe in my first post).Or do I misunderstand you?

VincentJune 16, 2021 at 3:43 am #1305910Hi Vincent,
You have to publish the page privately for this functionality to work. A draft page won’t even show up in the list of pages which you can select in the element options.

RikardJune 16, 2021 at 7:53 pm #1306089Hi Rikard,
Before the pages in concept did show up in the list.
It was my problem they where not in the list anymore. But your solution works perfect :-)
Thank you for the support!Beste regards,
