    Hi,

    I’m using Enfold as a theme for my website, and we used the Avia Layout Builder to create pages, including the front page more than a year ago.

    Currently, when I try to edit any of the pages on our website (including the front page), the content box is blank, although the content remains intact on the site as long as I don’t press save on the blank page. I can’t figure out a way to have the content come back up using the Avia Layout Builder. I am able to revert to a past revision and have some code blocks show up in the traditional editor, but when I click “Advanced Layout Editor,” the content box is blank again.

    Additionally, when I try to rebuild through the Avia Layout Builder, it won’t save the layouts I build.

    Appreciate any insight or help you can offer on this issue!

    Additionally, when I add new items through the Avia Layout Builder, and try to edit those items, I consistently get a message that says “An error occured – it seems your (sic) are not longer logged in. Please reload the page and try again”

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details, I get the same problem on my end though I can’t see why that is happening. Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
    If that is not the case, then please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your quick response. I tried deactivating all the plugins, and I’ve also tried overwriting the theme file through FTP, but it hasn’t resolved the issues. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback, I’ve never seen this problem before to be honest with you. Could you try to activate debug mode: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, and then copy the shortcodes from the regular editor into the shortcode window under the theme builder to see if that works?

    Hi,
    I’ve activated debug mode, and it works to add and edit shortcodes under the theme builder, but I’m still unable to use the themebuilder. When I try adding content in the theme builder, a message pops up that says “An error occured. It seems your (sic) no longer logged in.” But it doesn’t log me out, and I can just close the window and the rest of the site functions normally.

    I’ve tried restoring the database from last week as well as overwriting the theme file, but that hasn’t resolved the issue either.

    Would really appreciate any help you can give on this!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure if it’s the cause or not, but it could be the user which is the problem. Could you try adding another admin user and log in with that to see if the problem still occurs?
