Hey guys- i just had a friend tell me my contact page is broken:
    https://www.inclinedesigngroup.com/contact/

I am getting 51 errors for [blocked] enfold theme content, wp-includes, plugin content, etc. being blocked because it is referencing a non https:// links… for some reason this is only happening on the contact page, and the rest of the site is loading normally.

This is a new issue today (or brought to my attention today)… haven’t made any changes etc. in a while here.
I did update Enfold **after** seeing this issue wondering if it was a WordPress Update issue that the theme update dealt with… but no luck.

We are running the site in a child theme and fully installed it onto the secure environment.. so not sure why there is content being pushed to non-secure links?

    Any quick help is appreciated!

go and prove your links : the contact page getting from menu : is a http://www … and the link you gave us is a https://www

    by the way :
on your http page there are two implemented images:

true story Guenni007! I changed the menu link because that non-https Contact link is resolving correctly so that people visiting the site are not seeing the horribly broken page that is resolving with https.

your site has a W3 Total Cache installed – have you cleared all cache.

that little image seem to come from wpstats – is there a plugin you can turn off to prove if it comes from that source.

by the way a lot of your scripts etc are loaded via http on that page

for those pages which i put to https i do a database search and replace.
there are some fine plugins on WordPress – i used often : https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/

but you have to be carefull with these tools – a bad search replace could end in a non-working page.
it is not quiet simple as search http and replace with https

it is best to do a simulation without changing anything to see if it founds some entries in your datatable
There is a button on that plugin to first secure the sql database
if you do a more specific search as in the image it might go everything ok

if there are files with http://your domain in it
than you can do a save changes to database run.

Thanks for your help Guenni007! it looks like clearing the cache may have done the trick there… i cleared both W3 Total Cache and also the GADWP analytics caches (since some of the errors were Google calls as well) and we are loading correctly now without errors.

On your image comment– i’m not sure what the image links are you’re referring to are? It looks like the 1st one is the enfold default logo file set in the Child options panel (and i checked that that one is linking to an https source). I’m wondering if the a-stats pixel is the traffic pixel for Jetpack?

I was looking at search and replace options this morning thinking that may be part of the problem here… i will take a look at your recomendation!

well.. actually it looks like that didn’t fix the issue. It was coming up fine here on a couple of computers but not on others.

I just disabled the Jetpack and W3TotalCache plugins and it looks like that may have fixed the issue however… so it looks like it’s possibly a caching issue(?).

I did just do a test run of the Search and Replace and i am getting quite a few old links persist, so i will be backing up the site and then giving that a go this evening.

did you clear your browser cache as well ? because they will have the cached sites of your Caching plugin.

On my browser your contact page with https now loads as it should

    Hi,

Thanks for helping out @guenni007, did you try clearing your browser cache and did it work out @scott?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
