    Hi
    I do not know when it happened but My footer has been overwritten and now shows the Interesting links, Pages and Categories.

    I have overwritten footer.php and header.php in child theme which gives the right footer back. But then my styling has changed e.g. missing logo., footer widget has got a different background color and heading and body text have changed styling. How can I overwrite the files without the styling changes

    Hey scancondk,

    Maybe you have added styling in either those files? If so, then it would disappear when you overwrite the files. You can add the new files, then add your customisation back in after that.

    Hi Rikard,
    Thanks for your reply. There is no styling in either the header.php or footer.php. Only tracking codes have been added.

    I’ve found the problem. Some old script was left for some functionality on the site.
