Hi there,
I am trying to achieve something similar to this: http://i.imgur.com/u4Iy3sY.jpg and what was achieved in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/side-wise-column-overlapping/
When I try to make this adjustment, the text is on top and overlapping the image, however, the white background of column 2 does not appear.
Can someone please help me achieve this? I want to add another grid row below this one, and achieve the same thing but have the image on the left, text on right.
All in all, I would like to have an image in the background, with the text column overlay the image with a background color.
The grid rows in question are in the Welcome page and labeled GridOverlay1 and GridOverlay2: https://prestige2.wpengine.com/
So far I have used this:
.overlapping-columns1 {
position: relative !important;
left: -150px !important;
}
And have the text overlapping the image, however, the background is so large behind the text. I would like it to look like this example (without paralex as I’m assuming that is not possible: https://www.archesvacationrentals.com/). How do I make the background of the second column smaller and centered within the photo?
Hi kelsycolbeth,
https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KuLppk6 Are you referring to this one? How do you need to adjust it?
2. No, it’s not possible with Enfold out of the box.
Best regards,
Victoria
