SITE BROKEN AFTER ENFOLD UPDATE
Hi guys. We have a rather serious problem. After updating the enfold theme our site is completely down. This has never happened before with this site, or any other client site.
I’ve contacted the ISP and a restore is in progress. But I fear that unless we know the reason why this occurred it will happen again. I can’t give you the update version because I can’t get to admin console. Can you please help?

Did you get any error messages at all? Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. We will have to see the actual problem to be able to help you out though, I’m guessing that will be difficult if you are restoring the site from a backup?

RikardMarch 13, 2018 at 7:21 pm #926203The site was restored and is somehow now working. I have no idea why. I made one change. I updated the PHP handler from 5.x to 7.0. Maybe that did it. I don’t know.
I don’t recall the exact error message but it was something about a PHP error on line 6. Similar to what other’s are experiencing.
P.S. to set you up with a temporary admin account I will need an email address. Send me your email and I’ll create an admin account for you.

Thanks for the feedback. You can use (Email address hidden if logged out) , just make sure to post the login details here in private.
For your problem, maybe this could be the solution?
I would recommend that you update on a staging version of the site first, so that you won’t compromise your live site. Or you can leave the update until a later update.
