When I am using enfold layout builder in pages I can insert videos via the native wordpress inser media button but the player does not work properly when included inside the builder.
If I switch to default WP editor it works but then I can not have any other layout elementa that I want from the theme´s content builder.
Is there any other video plugin that works from inside the enfold layout builder?
There is not much to customize regarding the included function for media modues > video

The video element uses the WordPress oembed video function except with a UI. You could also use a text element and add the url into that or use a Code element and add any other kind of video embed code into it as well.

DevinI have some videos there and I have set them to be full width of the page, around 1030px. The preview image is 800×450 but when I reload Safari a couple of times it does very often load up the preview image as 480 x 270. I have no Idea why it does that. There is no image in the upload folder that is of that size. This happens on the Enfold layout builder with your “video button / media module”. It is not the wordpress one.
Can you give one example of a clean video player that can be inserted via short code inside the layout builder without conflicting with the theme?
The native wordpress video player only works when I use the default editor.
Where exactly can I insert a shortcode from another video player plugin that does not get conflicting errors with the theme layout builder. I have now tried a bunch of plugins with shortcodes and they all work with the default page editor in wordpress but as soon as I insert the shortcode in a text block or code block (in the Enfold Layout Builder) and view the published page the plugin stops working.

What is the video format that you’re trying to use? Basically, MP4 is the best option because it is supported by major browsers. Please refer to this link: http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html5_video.asp

Ismaelyes I know all that, I have converted a lot of clips to mp4 + ogv + webm and all are working on the site since the site is targeted to video production. I have also uploaded preview images and they are working also.
But Safari wont work well with the enfold video player include with the theme. It is very easy to use but since 50% of the time the preview image is displayed at wrong size on Safari (which pretty much every Mac user have) before pressing play on the video it is not something I would like to use on a live site for a client.
I managed to get video.js to work but it is a bit akward to hand over the website to my client and tell them to work with shortcodes that is like 3 rows with text each time they want to publish a new video. They dont know much about html code, that´s why I liked the theme but since the video feature does not include a fullscreen option button and the bug described above on Safari the video function is a bit downgrading. Other than that I really like the theme. :/

I tested https://wordpress.org/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/ and it works for me. I just had to tick the “Load JS Everywhere” checkbox: http://www.clipular.com/c/5743169358528512.png?k=jUZ50S4XirYmj51VzIiUfmtDAEg on the player option page.

and then going to the first item in the portfolio “wer ist schön” a video with a description open. it dosn´t open the control bars etc. an i got the error message
If you do a right button on the video and do a “show control bars” you can play the movie.found these 2 links, they might help

Question, if there any JavaScript event which triggers once the Ajax content finishes loading in the theme ? Or can we check if there are new <video> tag periodically and add Flowplayer on them automatically ?
