    Hi,
    I’m creating a portfolio based website for a client, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to sort the portfolio grid according to the presence of (as opposed to the content of) an excerpt (i.e., portfolio entries that do have an excerpt will show at the stop of the grid).

    From poking around on the internet, it seems that ‘excerpt’ does not work with ‘orderby’. Is there another method I could use?

    Hey scotthhahn!

    No, afaik this is not possible. However you can try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/ to manually sort the portfolio entries.
