Hi, we are running a site including WooCommerce and WooCommerce Bookings and use WordPress 5.03 (not yet tested 5.1) with PHP 7.2 and Enfold 4.5.3.
The site performance was going down after releasing the web site. Especially editing in the backend is currently very slow.
Do you have any suggestions how to speed it up, which internal settings from Enfold are useful or whatever we can do to improve the site performance?
Best regards,

Your site is performing quite well according to the test in private. If you want to know what is consuming resources on the backend then you can try to install plugins like these to see what is going on:

thanks for your reply.Regarding the test results, there are 3 things to improve:
- Compress components with gzip
- Add Expires headers
- Make fewer HTTP requests
Is there any way to reach this by the Enfold’s settings?
I’ll give the plugins a try and hope we can improve it. What about using caching plugins for improving the performance?

You can’t do that in the theme settings unfortunately, but you should be able to with most caching plugins, or if you edit your .htaccess file manually.

do you have a suggestion which caching plugin works best with the Enfold theme?
We also checked Google PageSpeed Insights (private link) and if we could optimize their recommendations as well we want to use a caching plugin.Best regards,
