    Dear support team,

    I was looking around in order to have the portfolio grid items, opening in a new window.
    I found a lot of your advice about changing the portfolio.php file,
    but all your indications about where and what to change, are not as they used to be.
    Meaning if you said “replace x with y”, I couldn’t find exactly X as you described it.
    So I am not sure what to change.

    Maybe the code changed since then..it was 2014 or so.

    :) Hopefully it’s still possible.

    Hey VJLoops-GT!

    Did you try this solution? It should work with the current version.

    If it doesn’t work for you, can you give us temporary admin access into your website so we can take a closer look? You can put the login info in the Private Content of your reply.

    Thank you for your answer.

    I just couldn’t find the line to change in php file…
    I look for
    $output .= “<h3 class=’grid-entry-title entry-title’ $markup>“.$title.”</h3>”;

    In the portfolio.php file, and get 0 results.

    It’s line 513. :) Try searching for grid-entry-title entry-title instead.

    Hey Sarah,

    Thank you so much,
    I found the line, but I think I have the wrong replacement line.
    I got my info from this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-open-portfolio-custom-link-in-a-new-window/

    However, after replacing those lines, all I got was “h2” titles, and the links still open in the same window :)
    maybe it’s too old of a post? and the syntax has changed?

    This works with the current version, and does not require you to replace code in portfolio.php.
