Hello,
is it possible to open a portfolio from the portfolio grid as a lightbox gallery (not as AJAX, not only the big image, not in a new page)?
I know I could do it with the gallery module but i want it to be sortable and with the caption below the thumbnails like in the portfolio grid.Hope you can help.
Thanks, ThorstenJune 10, 2023 at 8:23 pm #1410176Hey ThorstenFB,
Thanks for your question, but the portfolio grid only has three options:
Open the entry on a new page
Open a preview of the entry (known as AJAX Portfolio)
Display the big image in a lightbox
If you want the image to open in a lightbox you would use:
Display the big image in a lightbox
This result is the same as using the gallery element to open the image in a lightbox.
Another option would be to set the option to Open the entry on a new page and then in the portfolio item set the Additional Portfolio Settings ▸ Overwrite Portfolio Link setting to the image with?iframe
trailing the image url
but this also is no different than the Display the big image in a lightbox unless you use a different image.Best regards,

thanks for your quick reply!
Yes, but what I want is to open more than one image “behind” the big image. I implemented this with different gallery modules (see private content). But I prefer to have the portfolio options (like sortability, title display etc.). Is that possible? Thanks a lot for your help!
Cheers

Maybe this is something for the Enfold to do list ;-) Maybe it’s easy to implement because a similar function already exists in the gallery module and might be useful in the portfolio module for other users as well.
Best regards,
