Hi there, I tried with the existing components and not found a solution.
On a page I have several topics on a page with resources for each. I have created the resources as individual portfolio items and then use the portfolio grid to feature them by category.
There is just a lot of them and they do clutter up the page as I need a grid for each topic. I was looking for a way to have a button or bar with “Need some resources? Click here.” kind of scenario where the button opens a section underneath it. I tried tab and accordion components, but they don’t allow a portfolio grid to be in the content area. And I tried the tab section with just one button which got me the closest, but it does not open or close by clicking on the tab. I saw some function snippets here – but when I added it to functions.php (I tried that within the theme editor – I am not at all used to these things) it showed an error.
Any idea or guidance?

Sorry for the late reply, Are you using the ajax portfolio grid where you click an item and the portfolio item opens above? This solution will make the item open below.Another option is to use jQuery to toggle “show” and “hide” for your portfolio grid, so when you click the button the portfolio grid is shown. Do you have an example page for us to see?
