    I tried using target=”_blank” but didn’t work.

    Please try to change this:

    linktarget=''

    To this:

    linktarget='_blank'

    Edit: sorry I saw that you tried that already. Please post a link to where we can see the element in question. We might need backend access as well so please include WordPress login details in private as well.
