June 30, 2016 at 11:06 am #655190I am hearing this is not theme related and yet any other theme I work with doesn’t have the issue to my knowledge! it is only when you move a website from one server to another…
June 30, 2016 at 11:09 am #655193mmm. this could be true?? As we staged the first build for this and transferred over to new URL – however all on the same host/server. So maybe not? I’m sure the Kriesi has the plan!! ;)
June 30, 2016 at 11:10 am #655194What I think is looking closely at this is when we move a website across to another server it appears to be using two javaScripts for the google maps which is cause the problem/conflict but I could be wrong…
June 30, 2016 at 11:11 am #655196Is there a simpler way of adding the google maps code to whichever file needed?
June 30, 2016 at 11:14 am #655198Not sure, I tried using a 3rd party plugin which also shows the same problem but is you use an <iFrame> from google maps this works perfectly but of course it doesn’t use the javaScript…
June 30, 2016 at 11:15 am #655199mmm. <iFrame> cn you expalin more and which element to choose, etc – super thanks
June 30, 2016 at 11:17 am #655202For example you would need to code soemthing like this – <iframe src=”https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d158857.7281095384!2d-0.24167893798677445!3d51.528771840054105!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x47d8a00baf21de75%3A0x52963a5addd52a99!2sLondon!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1467278160781″ width=”600″ height=”450″ frameborder=”0″ style=”border:0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>
Visit Google Maps – Type in the address you require > then click on share > then select Embed Code!
June 30, 2016 at 11:20 am #655204Brill! Where do you put this code? Thanks
June 30, 2016 at 11:22 am #655205Just create a code block from the advanced builder and paste in there, or just use a text block does the same thing.
You will see in the code Width=”600 height=”450″ so you can set the size…
June 30, 2016 at 11:23 am #655206Awesome – this will fill full width like the normal map?
June 30, 2016 at 11:25 am #655209Not sure you have to try, it should do as long as you get the dimensions correct… .
July 3, 2016 at 4:53 am #656203Hi,
@GBDesignStudio: Thank you for the info but we’re actually asking for the FTP credentials because we need to modify a few files in the theme. Please refrain from bumping or replying to your own thread because it gets pushed back to the end of the queue and moderators won’t be able to provide a response immediately. Please be patient while we go through the rest of the queue. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 5, 2016 at 9:29 am #656908Could you please fix this ASAP, because also on my page map is visible only for a fraction of the second and then is changed with this text.

July 19, 2016 at 11:15 pm #662726I would like to know why a problem found on last release is yet to be fixed a month and half later. this problem is stopping me in my project
July 22, 2016 at 5:10 am #663670Hi,
Kriesi is still working on a fix for this but rest assured that it will be release on next patch of the theme. For now, we managed to fix the google maps on a few sites by doing the following solutions in these threads:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/content-element-google-maps/#post-656399
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-google-maps-widget-not-working/#post-657900
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/solution-to-google-maps-key-issues/https://kriesi.at/support/topic/solution-to-google-maps-key-issues/If the solutions did not fix the issues on your end, please create a new thread with the url to the site plus the WordPress and FTP login credentials. We’ll check the issue there.
Best regards,
