Hi!
I have a client who currently has a single WordPress site using Enfold. However, their business has 2 distinct areas (yoga school and holiday accommodation) and at present there is a lot of confusion among site visitors what the business is all about.
So we were going to split it into 2 separate sites – one on the current domain and one on a new domain. Sites to use the same WP theme and overall look but with different colour schemes, logo etc. and some cross-referencing between sites. However, for SEO reasons it’s now been decided to only have one single site after all, with a homepage that leads the visitor to the 2 separate sections in sub-directories (xyz.com/yoga and xyz.com/accommodation).
My issue is how to manage the different logo and colour-scheme for the 2 sections. Can I achieve this somehow within the single WP and Enfold installation? The previous web designer created a child theme for them which is used on the current site.
Any advice appreciated.
SOLUTION: As someone not that familiar with WordPress, I now realise that I can achieve this with Multi-Site. Thanks.
Hey inTandem,
Glad that you found a solution for this.
